Reading project
춤추는 토끼

In the forest, there lives a young rabbit that danced very well and a fox that could play the flute very well. Their playing and dancing caused the whole forest to dance. The sparrow flapped its wings, the squirrel danced lightly, and the bear shaked its butt. The rabbit and fox both complimented each other's talents, insisting that the other was better than himself. As time went by, they both grew older and the rabbits hair was white and beautiful. They continued to play. Eventually, other animals in the forest began to argue about whether the fox's playing made the rabbit dancing better, or the rabbit's dancing made the fox's playing better. They argued about whether the fox's playing was better or the rabbit's dancing was better. Eventually, the rabbit and the fox began to think this way. They blamed each other for not playing and dancing well. The fox then decided to leave the forest for the city. They played less, and the consequently the forest became dull. The leaves didn't dance anymore and the trees complained... "Don't they know that the fox's playing makes the rabbit dance better, and the rabbit's dancing makes the fox's playing better?"

The fox walked around the city and asked a cat wearing sunglasses and holding an umbrella where the largest music parties are. The cat led him to a building full of talented performers. The musicians heard the fox's playing and were repulsed--some laughed, some covered their ears, and some fell asleep out of boredom. He realized that he needed someone to dance to his flute-playing to play well, and looked for one who could dance as well as the rabbit could. But he could not find any in the city. The rabbit did the same. He went out to find someone in the city who could play as well as the fox did, so that he would be able to dance, but he could not find anyone. He went back to the forest.

Years went by, and both the fox and rabbit grew older. The fox sat thinking of the time when he and the rabbit would play and dance. He missed the rabbit, and began to search for him in the forest. He went around asking for a young white rabbit who could dance well. A bear led him to the part of the forest where many rabbits live. He asked rabbit about his search. The rabbit told him that there was an old white rabbit who could dance well. The fox shaked his head, explaining that he was looking for a young white rabbit. He walked sadly deep into a mountain, thinking how he could possibly find the rabbit that lives in his heart.
